Established in 2007, it holds the distinction of being the country’s first dedicated gallery for this art form. The gallery's mission is to demystify photography and make it an accessible and appreciated medium, fostering a deeper understanding and interest among the public.

Since relocating to its current space in Lado Sarai, the art district of New Delhi, in 2011, Wonderwall has become a vibrant hub for both Indian and international photography. With a diverse representation of over 40 talented photographers, it regularly hosts exhibitions not only at its own location but also collaborates with galleries in cities like Kolkata, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Chennai, as well as internationally in Singapore.

In addition to these endeavours, Wonderwall has established itself as a fixture in the art circuit by participating in prestigious events such as the India Art Fair in Delhi every year since it began and the PhotoARTAsia Expo in Bangkok, Thailand. Through its efforts, Wonderwall continues to enrich the cultural landscape and promote fine art photography to a broader audience.
