DHEERAJ PAUL, 35, born in the family of skilled professional photographers. Trained under the strict guidance of father Mr. S. Paul, who till date is the Indian’s most awarded Photographer internationally. Dheeraj has been working for over 15 years as an editorial & advertising photographer. Also runs Stock Picture & Assignment Agency-: INDIA FOTO NEWS FEATURES, enlisted in WORLD’S PICTURE SOURCE BOOKS. His specializations are People & Travel, Fine-Art Photography, Still-Life, Food, Architecture. He won First Prize in THE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR AWARD by “What Digital Camera magazine” U.K year 2005. Gold Prize (First Prize) in CANON Asia & Pacific Photo Contest, year 2000, Awarded $ 1000 in ABB Photo Contest, SWITZERLAND year 2000 UNESCO, World Heritage, Commended, JAPAN 1999. Four pictures were exhibited in the AL THANI AWARDS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY 2006, AUSTRIA and one of them also published in their lavishly done coffee table book. Besides this, one of his pictures was published and exhibited in the HOUSE OF HUMOUR, BULGARIA, 2005. Commonwealth Photographic Awards 2006-7, U.K Runner Up Award. 2nd Prize Winner from the Land category of the 2008 Asia Without Borders Photography Competition, organised by Asian Geographic Magazines. First Solo Exhibition of 30 Black & White and Color photographs held at the Galerie Romain Rolland at Alliance at New Delhi in April 2007. He was invited, chosen, one of the top 100 photographers of the world to CLICKART 2003 Singapore to attend “World’s Photographers Meet” in December 2003 also invited to attend Automobile Photography Workshop at various studios in Japan in the year 2003 by HAKUHODO (a leading advertising agency), both at their expenses. Has illustrated over 26 books on various subject. “THE GOLDEN TEMPLE- A Gift to Humanity”, THE ART OF INDIAN CUISINE, INDIAN FLAVOURS, INDIAN JEWELLERY to name some.
